We are working on a terminal design where passenger comfort comes to the fore and the latest technologies are used, nourished by Istanbul's unique cultural and architectural heritage. The project, which will be drawn by a working group formed by the world's most experienced local and foreign architectural companies, will be passenger-oriented. In the design of the terminal, care will be taken to use motifs used in Turkish-Islamic art and architecture. Istanbul New Airport, which is planned to have a simple and useful systematic as well as its aesthetic features, will take its place among the world's prominent architectural examples with its flexible and spacious design.

We worked on the earthworks design with temporary permissions at the construction site until the full site delivery, which was officially realized by DHMİ on May 1, 2015, using ground surveys carried out with nearly 600 drillings and over 1600 conical penetration tests throughout 2014. To date, we have carried out around 700,000 m3 of soil movement per day in ground leveling and excavation works, and we expect this amount to gradually exceed the 1 million m3 limit in the near future.

Within the scope of this major project, DKE carries out the architectural and structural designs of all infrastructure facilities planned to be built throughout the field, as well as the structural designs of all infrastructures such as vehicle tunnels, bridges and infrastructure galleries throughout the field and on the air side.
